Whale-watching at close quarters - from the comfort of your bed, or, if you like, from the generous jacozzi bath, or the shower, the lounge or the rustic twelve seater dining table - is just one of the rare treats you'll enjoy in this special home. Not to mention the spectacular, billowing plumes of sea spray which erupt before your eyes as thundering waves break on the rocks in front of the house when the seas are high.

Its remarkable position aside, the house itself offers those seeking some serious chill-out time exactly what they are looking for: With light-filled, airy interiors, Natanya is the epitome of pared-down luxury - simple, elegant, beautiful.

Natanya's heart is undoubtedly its open plan kitchen-lounge-dining area, with seamless flow on the mountain side out to the enclosed garden courtyard, with balau table for sheltered al fresco dining, built-in braai area, and tinkling water feature. On the other side of the open plan space concertina sliding doors open out onto the generous sea-facing deck, featuring a twelve-seater dining table for those lazy lunches which merge into sundowners which become star-spangled, balmy, candle-lit dinners…

The modern, fully-equipped kitchen is an entertainer's (and holidaymaker's) dream. It features a large central island with prep bowl, large gas hob and stove, an additional thermo-fan electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and large fridge-freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate, spacious utility room, with double kitchen sink, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The house also offers a comfortable, dedicated TV room, with extra long built-in couch, wood-burning fireplace, DSTV, DVD player and CD player.

About the bedrooms: the house sleeps 10. Downstairs are two double bedrooms en-suite: the spacious sea-facing master bedroom, featuring a built-in king sized bed, private balcony, open plan bathroom with jacuzzi bath, and shower (both with full sea views), and separate loo. The mountain-facing bedroom offers a king sized bed (or two 3/4 beds) with spacious en-suite bathroom and private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. This room leads out through double French doors onto a private courtyard.

Upstairs is a third double bedroom with open plan bathroom en-suite (bath and shower), and separate loo. Double French doors lead out onto a generous private deck with breathtaking mountain and sea views to either side. Two simply furnished, smaller bedrooms upstairs, each with two 3/4 beds beds, complete the sleeping quarters. A guest loo downstairs serves these two rooms.
